Akureyri Swimming pool

Akureyri Swimming Pool is one of the most popular attractions in Akureyri. It is open all year round.

The pool area includes two 25 meter outdoor pools,water slides, splashpool, an indoor pool, hot pots and a cold one and a steam bath as well. All the pools are heated by natural geothermal water. Temps range from a chilling 5°C to the hottest hot pot, 43°C.

The whole facility is maintained to a high standard. Akureyri Swimming Pool is one of Iceland's finest.
