Stóru-Laugar

Storulaugar offer accommodation in newly refurnished beautiful house. The farm is located just 1 km from Laugar college and therefore perfectly situated between Akureyri and Myvatn. The location makes it an ideal hub from which to explore the surrounding countryside. For instance, spend the day at Akureyri at amazing golf course (61km) or go whale watching at Husavik (40 km) or visit magic of Myvatn at only 30 km distance from the guesthouse.

At Laugar you find all necessary service such as supermarket and swimming pool in just 1 km distance from the farm. All our rooms are bright and spacious. Seven of them has their own bathroom (2 triple rooms and 5 double rooms) as well as 4 rooms with wash basin (one triple room, one single room and two double rooms).

From our guesthouse we have breathtaking view from the veranda in front of the house where you will also find a hot tube. We are located on the road nr 846 (drive up to Laugar college and there turn left).
